Terms and Conditions for The Doggy Diaries

Introduction 

Welcome to The Doggy Diaries! By purchasing from our small business, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Services Provided: The Doggy Diaries offers a variety of dog coats and pet apparel, designed for Miniature Dachshunds, including but not limited to coats, harnesses, collars, leads and toys. 

Payments: All payments must be paid in full, through our website. An order is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation from The Doggy Diaries with your order number. Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. We accept all major debit and credit cards and PayPal via Shopify.

Cancellations: Cancellations can be made within 6 hours of placing order as we aim to post next day and you will receive a full refund via the payment method you paid with. 

Client Responsibilities and Liability:

The Doggy Diaries will take all reasonable care to ensure the safety of our products. However, we cannot be held responsible for any illness, injury caused by using our products. The Doggy Diaries is not responsible for the care of your dog with our products, please watch them carefully whilst playing with toys etc. 

Privacy: We respect your privacy and will never share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

Amendments: The Doggy Diaries reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

Despatch policy: Please allow 2 working days for us to dispatch your order. We use Royal Mail UK Tracked 48hr. In busier periods, delivery times may be longer than expected. We will keep notified via email.

Returns Policy:We recommend you visit our returns page for full details. 

Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt for a exchange or a full refund provided the goods are in resalable condition. 

We cannot exchange or refund items that have the tags removed, are soiled, smell, are hairy or have been washed or brushed. If items returned for exchange or refund are not in as-new condition, a cleaning charge will be levied, or if the item is damaged it will be returned to the customer. 

If an item is being returned due to a manufacturing fault we'll repair, exchange or refund regardless of its condition, though it's greatly appreciated if it's washed first.

Unfortunately returns are not free at this stage unless it arrives damaged or faulty in which case we will require photographic evidence. However, if you choose to exchange, we will ship the new product to you free of delivery charge. Please include order number, name and shipping address in returned parcel. 

Original postage costs will not be refunded unless an item is damaged/faulty.

If you choose to return your item using normal untracked delivery, then please ensure you get proof of postage otherwise we cannot be held responsible if the item goes missing on its return.
